Casas MG by delavegacanolasso: Introspective Housing in Dense Urban Fabric
The architectural firm delavegacanolasso, led by Ignacio de la Vega and Pilar Cano-Lasso, has designed Casas MG, a 996 m² housing project slated for completion in 2026. Curated by Valentina Díaz, the project responds to a fragmented and often hostile immediate environment of minimal plots, semi-detached houses, and streets lacking vegetation. The design positions the houses as introspective refuges, shifting focus from the exterior to a contained, serene, and carefully constructed domestic experience with a rich, exuberant, and fresh interior world. Photographs by Paco Marín document the project.
