Casal Solleric opens call for 2026 projects
The Palma City Council, through its General Coordination of Culture and Tourism, has launched the 2026 edition of the COP (Convocatòria Oberta de Projectes), an open call for contemporary art projects. The program targets artists, curators, and collectives, aiming to foster local artistic creation. A specialized jury will select one project to be exhibited in the Aljub space of Casal Solleric from June 4 to September 6, 2026. The winning proposal receives up to €15,000 plus VAT to cover artist and curator fees, production, transport, installation, and other costs. Projects must adapt to the Aljub's characteristics and respect the cultural venue; both new and already produced works are accepted. Submissions must be digital and include a technical report, exhibition design, and detailed budget. The deadline is April 26, 2026.
