Casa Yaw by Robert Konieczny and KWK Promes Integrates into Beskid Mountains
Casa Yaw, designed by Robert Konieczny and KWK Promes, is a house shaped by its challenging terrain in the Beskid Mountains. Rather than being built against the slope, the structure literally leans southward, blending into the topography and landscape. The project was completed in 2025 and covers a site area of 4,870 m² with a gross floor area of 1,354 m². Key collaborators include Marek Golab-Sieling, Anna Szewczyk, structural engineer Kornel Szyndler Proeco, interior decorator WIDAWSCY studio architektury, and glazing suppliers KELLER system glazing and KER+3MR. Photography is by Jakub Certowicz, and the project was curated by Hadir Al Koshta.
