Casa Villa Robles: A Luminous Contrast in the Pine Forest

Architecture studio arquitectura.te has completed Casa Villa Robles, a 133-square-meter residence in Villa Robles, Argentina, in 2023. The house is designed as three solid volumes clad in light-toned shingles that deliberately contrast with the dark hues of the surrounding pine forest. Rather than blending into the landscape, the project asserts itself as a luminous object, creating a dialogue between architecture and nature. The design team includes architects Ramiro Terrado and Ignacio Tessore, with landscaping by Carolina Pell. Photography is by Ignacio Tessore.
