Casa Villa Robles: A Luminous Contrast in the Pine Forest

architecture-design · 2026-05-06

Architecture studio arquitectura.te has completed Casa Villa Robles, a 133-square-meter residence in Villa Robles, Argentina, in 2023. The house is designed as three solid volumes clad in light-toned shingles that deliberately contrast with the dark hues of the surrounding pine forest. Rather than blending into the landscape, the project asserts itself as a luminous object, creating a dialogue between architecture and nature. The design team includes architects Ramiro Terrado and Ignacio Tessore, with landscaping by Carolina Pell. Photography is by Ignacio Tessore. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz and involved suppliers Bará, Estudio.te, and Forti.
