Casa VE by Triangular: A Flexible Lakeside Retreat in Southern Chile
Casa VE, designed by the architecture firm Triangular, is a second home located on the shores of Lago Rupanco in Puerto Octay, southern Chile. The 400 m² project, completed in 2025, was curated by Valentina Díaz. The design accommodates varying occupancy patterns through flexible subdivision, ensuring independence between areas for parents, children, and guests. The single-level layout prioritizes spatial continuity and a direct relationship with the surrounding landscape. Key team members include lead architects Tomás Swett Amenábar and Gabriel Díaz Riadi, design team member Aquiles Segura, technical team member Carolina Vargas, structural engineer Ernesto Hernandez, MEP engineer VY Ingenieria, and general contractor Montevarchi.
