Casa Robegan in Treviso reopens with new spaces and €1M investment
Casa Robegan, the renowned museum of applied arts located in Treviso, is set to reopen during the second week of September 2021 following a €1 million renovation funded by the municipality, Ca' Foscari University, and TRA – Treviso Ricerca Arte. The city allocated €300,000 specifically for a new air conditioning system. The revamped museum will serve as a cultural center, featuring a courtyard, a 600-square-meter green area, a concept store, and a bistro. The attic on the second floor will provide spaces for reading, coworking, and meetings, while a multimedia room accommodating 100 people will be available on the first floor. Mayor Mario Conte envisions a collaboration among art, academia, and business. A solo exhibition by Matteo Valerio is scheduled for October 22 as part of the reopening.
