Casa RDH by Čechvala Architects: A House at the Confluence of Forest and River in Bratislava

Čechvala Architects has completed Casa RDH, a 144-square-meter residential project located in the Sihoť district of Bratislava, Slovakia. The house is situated along Devínska Road, at a rare meeting point between the forested slopes of the Carpathian massif and a tranquil branch of the Danube River. Its proximity to a well-known horticulture center gives the plot a prominent presence in the neighborhood. The project was designed by principal architects Tomáš Čechvala and Katarína Šoltýsová, with design team member Monika Homolová and technical team member Stanislav Komár. The house was completed in 2025 and has been documented by photographers Alexandra Timpau and Alex Shoots Buildings. The project falls under the categories of residential architecture, houses, and residential interiors. The design responds to the unique landscape, integrating the contrasting natural environments of the hillside and the river.
