architecture-design · 2026-05-21

Casa RAL, designed by kikacamasmie+arq, is a 190 m² residential project in Jardim Paulista, São Paulo. The client wanted to merge two neighboring houses, but the architects opted to fully renovate one plot—demolishing and reconfiguring it—while keeping the original house for rental. The compact three-story design reserves the top floor for leisure and work areas, integrated with a garden opening onto the greenery of Jardim América. The project was led by architects Kika Camasmie and Rodrigo Guerra, with photography by Arthur Duarte. Suppliers include Pastilhas Ibiza, Pedras Margrape, Protécnica, Serralheria Gomez e Moraes, and Terracor Revestimentos.
