Casa O by YES! Architects: A Study in Contrast and Silence in Pilar

Casa O, designed by YES! Architects, is a 390 m² residence completed in 2023 in Pilar Centro, Argentina. The project, led by principals Roberto Fuenzalida, José Saini, and Sofía Moneta, with design team member Stefanía Acosta and civil engineer Roberto Alfie, occupies a corner lot in a traditional neighborhood. The design strategy contrasts the south and north facades: the south presents a hermetic, blind wall stretching 38 meters along the municipal line, revealing only the main entrance and shielding the interior, while the north facade dematerializes.
