Casa Mezcal: A Contemporary Family Residence in Mexico City

Casa Mezcal, a renovation project by Barde + vanVoltt, transforms a former mezcal tasting facility in La Condesa, Mexico City, into a contemporary family residence. Completed in 2023, the 400 m² project celebrates Mexican architecture, craftsmanship, and nature. The design team includes Bart Jan van Seggelen, Valerie Boerma, and Ivo Klaver, with CF Taller as the architecture office and Aldaba Jardines handling landscape design. Curated by Nina Vuga, the project features products from Agape Bathrooms, In Light We Trust, Nuumbra, Studio davidpompa, Tata Mosaicos, and Txt.ure.
