Casa María by Gonzalo Rufin Arquitectos + Manuel Rufin
Casa María, designed by Gonzalo Rufin Arquitectos and Manuel Rufin, is a 230 m² house completed in 2025 in Matanzas, Chile. The project responds to a natural ravine crossing the site, adopting its geometry to form a right triangle whose longest side runs parallel to the ravine, opening the main living spaces toward the ocean. The house is situated on a slope descending to Matanzas beach. The design team includes Gonzalo Rufin Arquitectos and Manuel Rufin, with construction by Constructora Lemad and furniture by Muebles Valterra. Photography is by Pablo Casals Aguirre. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz.
