Casa Leopardi Hosts Contemporary Art Exhibition 'In purissimo azzurro'
The Biblioteca di Casa Leopardi in Recanati is hosting 'In purissimo azzurro', the second installment of the InterValli series curated by Antonello Tolve. Building on last year's theme of 'L'infinito', this exhibition is inspired by Leopardi's poem 'La ginestra, o il fiore del deserto', penned in Torre del Greco during the spring of 1836. The entire first floor of Palazzo Leopardi, home to the poet's library containing 20,000 volumes, will showcase the work of twenty-one artists born between the 1920s and 1990s, who interpret the broom flower as a symbol of resilience. The exhibition is open from October 19, 2023, until January 7, 2024, featuring notable artists such as Giuseppe Ceracì and Ulrich Egger.
