Casa Kehai by HW Studio: A 95 m² House Centered on Emptiness

HW Studio, led by architect Rogelio Vallejo Bores, has completed Casa Kehai, a 95 m² house in an unspecified location, completed in 2025. The project team includes collaborating architects Oscar Didier Ascencio Castro and Nik Zaret Cervantes Ordaz, structural engineer Abdiel Nuñez Gaona, and construction firm Alberto Gallegos Negrete (Grupo GAPSE). The design philosophy, inspired by Japanese thought and Kakuzo Okakura's writings, centers on the concept of emptiness as a powerful void that allows breathing, movement, thinking, and living. The house's core is not an object but an empty present.
