Casa Jannacci opens free events and exhibitions for Milano Civil Week 2025

festival-fair · 2026-04-26

During Milano Civil Week 2025 (May 9–11), Casa dell'accoglienza 'Enzo Jannacci' in Milan's Corvetto district offers free inclusive programming. The shelter, named after singer-songwriter Enzo Jannacci (1935–2013) since 2014, houses about 550 people and became a multifunctional assistance center in 2023. Managed by Comune di Milano, Medihospes, Fondazione Progetto Arca, and others, it hosts workshops (cooking, woodworking, Thai dance, sewing), a Tai Chi session, a children's painting workshop, a theatrical performance 'Ogni strada ha il suo passo', and a roundtable on the shelter's role. Special guests include Ornella Vanoni inaugurating the Audioteca for emotional restoration created by Franco Mussida, and Paolo Jannacci performing Sunday with Cpm Music Institute musicians and community guests. Photographer Guido Harari presents 'Eccomi! Guido Harari per Casa Jannacci', portraits of shelter residents extending his 'Ritratti sospesi' series. Harari stated the photos aim to restore dignity and visibility to marginalized lives, posing eternal questions to conscience.
