Casa Ideale Pop-Up Hotel and Restaurant Opens in Arles

Paris-based events company We Are Ona has launched Casa Ideale, a six-month pop-up hotel and restaurant in Villa Bank, a Modernist home in Arles designed by architect Émile Sala. The project features guest bedrooms and a restaurant open from July 1 to 10 for individual bookings, then through October for full property rentals. We Are Ona collaborated with Fondazione Sozzani to display photographs by William Claxton, Sarah Moon, and Helmut Newton. Temporary furnishings include pieces by Henri Bataille and Ettore Sottsass, sourced via gallerist Luna Laffanour, and are available for purchase. The menu emphasizes local ingredients, including produce grown on site. Future iterations in other locations are planned.
