Casa Heenvliet by Studio Brandvries: A Residential Extension in the Netherlands

Casa Heenvliet is a residential extension designed by Dutch architecture firm Studio Brandvries. Completed in 2024, the 280-square-meter project sits on the edge of the historic center of Heenvliet in the Netherlands. The clients, after acquiring the land, discovered an existing dwelling that had been built partially over the foundations of an old barn, which once belonged to a historic complex. Principal architects Sander Brand and Tijs Niessen led the design, with KVG Huizen in Hout as general contractor. Martijn Vonck Fotografie documented the finished work.
