Casa Gregotti: Private Home Gallery Opens in Milan with Gió Marconi Collaboration

exhibition · 2026-04-26

In Milan, a new private home gallery named Casa Gregotti has been established by Maria Gregotti in her great-grandfather Quinto Gregotti's historic apartment. This 300-square-meter venue spans two levels, featuring five exhibition spaces on the ground floor and offices above. Open exclusively by invitation, it aims to revive the "salotto" tradition, serving as a curated gathering spot for collectors, artists, and galleries. The opening exhibition, running from September 23 to December 16, 2025, is in partnership with Galleria Gió Marconi and showcases works from notable artists such as Matthew Brannon and Lucio Fontana. Additionally, the project includes "Cooking with Art," a culinary series developed with curator Ginevra Diana Beretta. Quinto Gregotti was influential in the Italian textile sector and collaborated with artists like Fernand Léger. The interiors were crafted in the 1960s by his nephew, architect Vittorio Gregotti.
