Casa Entre Muros by Studio UF+O: A Courtyard House in Rewatra

Studio UF+O, led by principal architects Prachi Parekh and Vineet Vora, has designed Casa Entre Muros, a 4,800-square-foot residence in Rewatra, Rajasthan, India. The project, curated by Miwa Negoro and photographed by Niveditaa Gupta, is scheduled for completion in 2026. The design draws from traditional Rajasthani village houses, which are organized around courtyards to accommodate social gatherings and family events while providing shelter from heat, dust, and public exposure. These homes are dynamic, expanding and contracting based on occupancy, alternating between communal and private use. Casa Entre Muros responds to this interplay of climate, community, and absence, embedding itself within the local architectural vernacular.
