Casa Enfilade: Flexible Apartment Interior in 1920s Building
P+S Estudio de Arquitectura has completed Casa Enfilade, a 64 m² apartment interior renovation in a 1920s building. The project, led by architects Francisco Parada and Laura R. Salvador, with design team Justine Genin and Lidija Soldo, reconfigures the original fragmented layout of rooms connected by a long corridor. The design embraces uncertainty and flexibility to accommodate an undefined end user, balancing 'the unique and the multiple' for contemporary domestic adaptability. General contractor Wilmer Tumbaco and structural engineer gv408 collaborated. Suppliers include Cortizo, Dimoncof, ICONICO, Kanteros Estucometalart, La Paloma Cerámicas, Luciolé, and Mosaic Factory.
