Casa en Quinta do Perú by GSS arquitectos: A Landscape-Integrated Home in Sesimbra
GSS arquitectos has completed a 357 m² residential house in Quinta do Perú, Sesimbra, Portugal. The project, led by architects Gonçalo Salazar de Sousa and Tiago Lomelino, is designed as an extension of the landscape. The low, elongated volume is placed along the northern boundary, freeing the southern terrain for a continuous garden with a solarium and pool. The house opens toward this constructed void, blurring the line between architecture and nature. Structural engineering was provided by PPE — Planeamento e Projectos de Engenharia, installations by proM&E Consulting, and construction by Constriceuta. Photographs by Bernardo Condeixa.
