Casa degli Artisti di Milano opens 11 studios to public for Open House

exhibition · 2026-04-26

From September 10 to 15, the Casa degli Artisti in Milan will welcome the public to explore all 11 artist studios for the first time as part of the Open House initiative, which includes performances, discussions, and open studios. Originally built in the early 20th century for Brera painters, this venue now functions as an international residency hub. Artists are chosen through invitations or open calls without any limitations. Notable events feature Luca Coser’s exhibition "La memoria delle cose," Dario Buccino's sound art performance on September 10, and Martina Mura's "Bancadati." Additionally, immersive works by Roberto Rup Paolini, Isabella Nazzarri, Anna Caruso, and Margherita Morgantin will be showcased. Urban artists Marco Teatro, Luca Di Maggio, and Pablo Pinxit will partner with Mamakass for the "Under the 2nd floor" event, while Gino Lucente will perform alongside King Tongue.
