In the Czech locality of Krámy, near the Brdy highlands, a weekend house designed by Anna Koukolová architekti has been completed. The 123-square-meter wooden residence, clad in charred spruce, sits on a sloping plot bordered by a grove and a stream. The project, realized in 2025, employs a simple structural system and honest materials, with a carefully planned layout that makes the modest area feel unexpectedly spacious. While the house closes off from neighboring constructions, its glazing and framed views maintain a continuous visual connection with the surrounding landscape. The principal architects are Anna Koukolová and Marcela Koukolová. The project is categorized under residential architecture, houses, and residential interiors.
