Casa Damata: Melina Romano Blends Rural Landscape with Interior Design in Itatiba

Completed in 2024, the Casa Damata project in Itatiba, São Paulo, showcases interior design by Melina Romano, drawing inspiration from the architecture of Otto Felix and the landscape architecture of Daniel Nunes. Spanning 880 square meters, this residence harmoniously blends local materials and design, ensuring a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The project team, led by Romano, included Victor Parra and Gabriel Mazzaro, with contributions from Otto Felix Arquitetura, Seiji Engenharia, and Wood Maecenaria. Featured furniture pieces comprise Cadeira Caqioquinha, Cadeira Kariri, and Mesa Lateral Percival Lafer. Denilson Machado of Estúdio MCA captured the project through photography, curated by Susanna Moreira.
