Casa Cafelândia renovation in São Paulo reimagines 1938 residence for contemporary living

The Casa Cafelândia project in the Sumaré neighborhood of São Paulo has revitalized a 1938 home through an extensive renovation spearheaded by Ana Sawaia Arquitetura. Finished in 2024, this 140-square-meter redesign enhances the connection between the living spaces and the garden, promoting a more open and integrated lifestyle. Ana Sawaia oversaw the project, while RG Plan Engenharia managed the general construction and Paulo Camerini handled civil engineering. Landscape design was crafted by Estudio Oh, led by Daniela Vieira, and Tiago Cappi oversaw production. André Scarpa captured the project's photography. Many suppliers, including A Morada Persianas and Artefatos Engenharia Metálica, provided essential materials and services. The renovation is categorized under residential architecture, curated by Susanna Moreira.
