Carsten Recksik Appointed Publisher at ArtReview Ltd

Effective immediately, Carsten Recksik has been appointed Publisher at ArtReview Ltd. He will manage the commercial activities for both the print editions of ArtReview and ArtReview Asia, as well as their digital platforms and live events, all from the London office. Previously, Recksik held the position of associate publisher for the UK and Asia markets at Frieze magazine. His experience includes curatorial roles at the Institute of Contemporary Arts London, Modern Art Oxford, and the European Commission in London, along with project management for exhibitions at Haus der Kunst Munich and Hauser & Wirth London, featuring artists such as Andreas Gursky and Ai Weiwei. ArtReview was established in 1949, while ArtReview Asia began in 2013, both known for their annual Power 100 and Future Greats lists. In June 2019, Modern Media, a Chinese communications group, became the majority owner of ArtReview.
