Carol Rama Honored in Venice and New York Exhibitions

Two major exhibitions will celebrate the work of Carol Rama, the experimental Italian painter who died in 2015. From May 8 to June 28, the monographic show "Spazio anche più che tempo" opens at Palazzo Ca' Nova in Venice, organized by the Carol Rama Archive. The exhibition will highlight a collection of works spanning her career, known for transgressive materials and sensual themes. On May 3, the New Museum in New York will open "Antibodies," curated by Massimiliano Gioni, also dedicated to Rama. Both shows coincide with the lead-up to the Venice Biennale.
