Carneplastico's LemonPorn: Erotic Citrus Illustrations

The Italian artist duo Carneplastico, composed of Claudia Bernardi and Anna Sandri, has created LemonPorn, a 40-page erotic booklet featuring sexually explicit illustrations of lemons. Published by the online startup Lemonprint, the booklet is printed on glossy paper with staple binding and distributed for free, though it carries a warning for minors. The project was commissioned by Carlo Migotto, creative director of Lemonprint and director of Lago Film Fest. The illustrations use a limited palette of yellow, pink, blue, green, and black, depicting lemons in various sexual acts. Despite commissioning the explicit content, Lemonprint censored parts of the publication, particularly male genitalia. The duo, both 24 years old, met while studying Illustration and Animation at IED Milan and maintain a studio in Milan. The name Carneplastico references a dish from the Futurist cookbook created by painter and poet Fillia for an aerobanquet held on December 12, 1931, in Bologna, which consisted of a cylindrical meatball filled with vegetables, crowned with honey, and supported by a sausage ring on three golden chicken meatballs.
