Carnegie International 2026 Curators Announced

The 59th Carnegie International will see Ryan Inouye, Danielle A. Jackson, and Liz Park take on the roles of Kathe and Jim Patrinos Curators. This exhibition, recognized as the longest-running international art survey in North America, is scheduled to be held at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh from May 2, 2026, to January 3, 2027. Inouye, who has recently been appointed curator of international art at the museum, was previously the associate curator for the 2022 edition and served as senior curator at Sharjah Art Foundation. Jackson, a Memphis-based writer and critic, is currently at Artists Space in New York, where she curated exhibitions featuring Milford Graves, rafa esparza, and Las Nietas de Nonó, having also worked at MoMA. Park, who is the Richard Armstrong Curator of Contemporary Art at the Carnegie Museum of Art, was the associate curator for the 57th Carnegie International in 2018.
