The 19th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, curated by Carlo Ratti under the theme "Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective.," closed on November 23, 2025, with 298,000 tickets sold over six months—a 5% increase from the 2023 edition curated by Lesley Lokko (285,000 tickets). Including 17,584 pre-opening visitors, the organizers declared it the most visited edition ever. The audience was evenly split between Italian (50%) and international (50%) visitors, with 84,000 attendees under 26 (28% of total). The exhibition featured 758 architects presenting 303 projects, a record number. President Pietrangelo Buttafuoco praised the event as a moment of shared knowledge, while Ratti emphasized the legacy lies in architectural practice and the "Laboratory" approach fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. The Public Program included 111 workshops, 9 conferences, and 11 collateral events. The Italian Pavilion, curated by Guendalina Salimei, was deemed unmemorable but its selection process was praised.
