Carlo Maria Lolli Ghetti joins Russo Contemporary as consultant

institutional · 2026-04-27

Carlo Maria Lolli Ghetti, former director of White Noise Gallery in Rome, has been appointed as a consultant for Russo Contemporary, the contemporary arm of the historic Galleria Russo. White Noise Gallery, founded in 2014 by Eleonora Aloise and Lolli Ghetti, closed in October 2022. Lolli Ghetti's role involves providing structured business consulting for the contemporary art market, complementing Russo Contemporary's existing program with pop-up exhibitions in external spaces. The project targets the gallery's long-standing collector base, which spans over 125 years, aiming to introduce ultra-contemporary languages without alienating traditional modern art enthusiasts. Lolli Ghetti brings a background in engineering and business consulting, having worked in logistics, Formula 1, and later in art coordination for Maria Cristina Finucci's Garbage Patch State project at UNESCO and the Venice Biennale. He also holds a Master of Art from LUISS, where he now teaches. The first event is planned for the first quarter of 2024. The Russo family—Fabrizio Russo, Francesca Romana, and Alberto—are key partners in the initiative.
