Carico Massimo Launches 'Rubriche d’aria' Podcast on Air

Founded in 2012, the Livorno-based group Carico Massimo has introduced a new podcast channel named 'Rubriche d’aria' on its On Air platform. This weekly series, curated by Juan Pablo Macias and Alessandra Poggianti, showcases perspectives from artists, philosophers, curators, historians, and scientists, all contemplating air as a shared sociocultural element. The podcast delves into the political and economic issues surrounding air, its clarity, and its influence on imagination and cosmic connections. Contributors include Giacomo Bazzani, Eva Brioschi, and many others. A selection of episodes, supported by Regione Toscana, Comune di Livorno, and Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci di Prato, will be available on Artribune. The inaugural episode features artist Daniele Di Girolamo (born 1995 in Pescara), who explores the interplay between natural processes and human actions, presenting 'To Bee Low Profile,' an audio piece that captures honeybee activities to emphasize vital, unseen collaborative networks.
