Captain Underpants film adaptation by DreamWorks arrives in Italian theaters

The film adaptation of Dav Pilkey's Captain Underpants book series, titled 'Capitan Mutanda' in Italian, is set to release on November 1, 2017, in Italian theaters. Directed by David Soren, the DreamWorks animation features the characters Harold and George, two fourth-grade friends who hypnotize their principal Mr. Krupp into becoming the superhero Captain Underpants. The film blends 2D and 3D animation, including flip-o-rama sequences, and incorporates elements from the books such as Professor Poopypants and the Talking Toilets. The series has sold over 70 million copies worldwide and been translated into 20 languages.
