Capsule: Modular Open Office Presented at Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena

Since late June 2021, for six months, the Museo Enzo Ferrari in Modena hosts Capsule, an open office prototype adjacent to exhibition galleries. The project results from a collaboration among Manni Green Tech (technology), Il Prisma (design), and Lago (furniture). Sebastiano Pasculli, Associate and Team Leader of Il Prisma's Cityscape division, describes the genesis as a worktable addressing contemporary needs: quality, configurable spaces with minimal land impact. Manni Group's dry construction systems allow modular aggregation starting from a Baseline module, adding Welcome (large windows), Social (open to outside), or Secret Room (intimate) modules. Potential applications span education, hospitality, retail, and residential. Each configuration ensures stability (including seismic), energy, acoustic, and safety performance. Lago contributed modular, reconfigurable furniture systems integrated into walls. Capsule uses Manni Group's dry construction with metal carpentry and ISOPAN panel cladding, reducing on-site assembly time. Internal wellbeing is ensured by air filtration and an unusual air-to-light ratio. In 2020, Archiproducts awarded Capsule the Design Award in the Construction category.
