Capri Wave Winter Arts Festival Launches with 17 Artist Shop Windows
Capri Wave, a winter arts festival, made its debut on December 8, 2019, in Capri, Italy. The "Vetrine d'Artista" initiative, overseen by Laura Trisorio and coordinated by Sara Aprea and Umberto Natalizio, showcases 17 artists who are converting storefronts on Via Vittorio Emanuele, Via Le Botteghe, Via Fuorlovado, and Via Camerelle into artistic displays. Among the featured artists are Roxy in the Box and Sergio Fermariello. This effort aims to enhance the historic center and improve access to contemporary art, with backing from the Assessorato al Turismo del Comune di Capri, Associazione Culturale Gulliver, and ASCOM. Furthermore, on December 20-21, 2019, the Marina Grande district unveiled "Pink City," a videomapping project by Franz Cerami, which will be on display until January 15, 2020.
