Capo d’Arte 2018: Lorenzo Vitturi, Éric Baudelaire, David Douard in Salento

festival-fair · 2026-05-04

On July 28, 2018, the ninth edition of Capo d’Arte, a nonprofit established in 2009 by Francesco Petrucci and Francesca Bonomo, will commence in Gagliano del Capo. The event showcases a permanent installation by Lorenzo Vitturi alongside a joint exhibition featuring Éric Baudelaire (born 1972) and David Douard (born 1983). Under the direction of Massimo Torrigiani, the festival reimagines urban environments. Vitturi’s piece, titled Solo lo stupore conosce, transforms a nonfunctional pole into a sculpture located in the “Villetta” public garden. At Palazzo Daniele, Baudelaire and Douard will present a project focused on local concerns. The opening times are set for 7 PM for Baudelaire and Douard, followed by Vitturi at 8:30 PM.
