Capitolium Art Auction: Prints, Photos and Multiples on April 28-29

Capitolium Art, a Brescia-based auction house, will hold an online auction dedicated to modern prints, photography, and artist multiples on April 28-29, 2026. The sale features 178 lots across four sessions. Highlights include works by Pablo Picasso from the Suite Vollard (lots 6 and 7, starting at €1,500) and a rare signed poster Exposition Vallauris (lot 11, estimate €6,000-8,000). Marc Chagall's Portrait du peintre (lot 5, estimate €2,000-3,000) and Marcel Duchamp's The King and the Queen (lot 14, estimate €4,000-5,000) are also offered. The photography section includes Polaroid mosaics by Maurizio Galimberti, featuring portraits of Toni Servillo (lot 175) and Ambra Angiolini (lot 176) from the 67th Venice Film Festival, as well as a portrait of director John Woo. Sculptural multiples by Arnaldo and Giò Pomodoro are present, including Arnaldo's Doppio Rilievo (lot 87) and Giò's Sole 3. The auction aims to provide accessible entry points for collectors, with many lots estimated under €1,000.
