Canon Unveils First L-Series Power Zoom Lens, RF 20-50mm f/4L IS USM PZ
Canon has introduced the RF 20-50mm f/4L IS USM PZ, marking its inaugural L-Series Power Zoom lens, alongside the launch of the EOS R6 V camera. This lens is the first RF-mount model to incorporate built-in Power Zoom, eliminating the need for external accessories, and is designed specifically for video creators. It offers a focal range of 20-50mm ideal for both general and self-facing video, features three Nano USM motors for silent focusing, and provides optical stabilization of up to six stops (eight with IBIS). Weighing 420g and measuring 98.4mm, it consists of 11 groups and 13 elements, including UD and aspherical components with Canon's coatings. Control options include the lens itself, the R6 V rocker switch, BR-E2 remote, or the Canon Camera Connect app. The RF 20-50mm f/4L IS USM PZ will be released in late June for $1,399, or as part of a kit with the R6 V for $3,699.
