Cannes Film Festival: Monica Bellucci, Eva Longoria and Xavier Dolan on the Red Carpet

The Cannes Film Festival presented its final two competition films on Friday, with the Palme d'Or winner to be announced at the closing ceremony. Among the last celebrities to walk the red carpet were Monica Bellucci, Eva Longoria, Xavier Dolan, and Gillian Anderson. A pigeon on the steps and details such as a vase-shaped handbag with flowers and a dress featuring a globe and peace message also made the photo selection. One of the films, 'Histoires de la nuit' by French director Léa Mysius, is an adaptation of Laurent Mauvignier's novel. It stars Bellucci alongside Hafsia Herzi and Benoît Magimel, telling the story of a family living in an isolated farmhouse with an Italian painter (Bellucci) as their only neighbor. While they prepare a surprise birthday party, three men arrive carrying secrets about Nora's past. The other film, 'Das getraumte abenteuer (The Dreamed Adventure)' by German director Valeska Grisebach, stars Yana Radeva and Syuleyman Alilov Letifov. Set in a town on the Bulgarian border, it follows a woman who helps an old acquaintance and becomes involved in illegal activities.
