Canemorto's Radio-Controlled Paintings Race at Palazzo Vizzani

The anonymous trio Canemorto presents 'The Painting Race', an exhibition and performance at Palazzo Vizzani in Bologna, opening January 25, 2024, during Art City Bologna. The show features paintings on wheels that visitors can remotely control, challenging the static perception of art. Curated by Antonio Grulli and promoted by Alchemilla, the project includes fabric works bleached to fit the palace's architectural panels. Canemorto, known for their invented language and canine deity Txakurra, creates a ludic, participatory environment that satirizes the competitive dynamics of art fairs. The public will engage in team races, blending game and satire.
