Candy Snake gallery moves to street-level space in Milan's Lambrate district

Andrea Lacarpia's Candy Snake gallery is relocating from its basement at Via Lambertenghi to a more visible street-level spot at Via degli Orombelli 15 in Milan's Lambrate district. The grand opening is on May 13, 2025. The first group show will feature artists like Riccardo Albiero, Francesco Ardini, Elen Bezhen, and several others. This move represents a return to the spotlight for Lacarpia, who previously ran the non-profit Dimora Artica since 2013 and worked with Edicola Radetzky. The gallery name reflects Pietro Di Corrado's 'Cotton Candy Snake,' capturing a sense of fun and curiosity. Lacarpia focuses on harmonization, pleasure, and research, engaging artists via Instagram and participating in various art fairs. A solo show for Riccardo Albiero is planned for September 2025, following his recent debut in Beijing. The new location will be near graphic designer Alessio d'Ellena's Superness studio.
