Canaletto Exhibition Opens at Queen's Gallery in Edinburgh

A major exhibition titled 'Canaletto & the Art of Venice' has opened at the Queen's Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, marking the 250th anniversary of Canaletto's death. The show presents 68 works including paintings, drawings, and documents, some never before exhibited in Italy. It features Canaletto's iconic vedute of Venice, created using a camera obscura, alongside works by contemporaries Marco Ricci, Sebastiano Ricci, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Francesco Zuccarelli, and Antonio Visentini. The exhibition runs until October 21 at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh.
