Campeggi Reissues Vico Magistretti Designs at Torre al Parco for Milan Design Week 2025
During Milan Design Week 2025, Italian furniture manufacturer Campeggi presents the Collezione Vico, a reissue project dedicated to designer Vico Magistretti (1920–2006). The collection is displayed in a small exhibition curated by Small Small Space in the hall of Torre al Parco, a 21-story residential tower designed by Magistretti and Franco Longoni in the mid-1950s, recently restored. The show reconstructs a nomadic living room, exploring the relationship between transformable furniture and the building's architecture. The Collezione Vico comprises 18 transformable objects designed by Magistretti and produced by Campeggi between the mid-1990s and mid-2010s. For MDW 2025, five products are unveiled: the Broomstick Uno folding coat rack (1996 reissue), the Moma mobile bookcase (2012 reissue of a 1948 MoMA competition entry), the Oblò sofa bed (2005), the Ospite folding bed, and the Piccy folding chair (1940s reissue). The exhibition runs until April 13, 2025, at Torre al Parco, Via Revere 2-4, Milan.
