The crew was preparing to film a segment about the pier, which was a beloved Victorian attraction until it suffered extensive damage from fires and storms in the early 2000s. As reported by The Argus, a shirtless man reportedly entered the office and stole a camera bag that contained a Sony camera, lenses, and additional gear. A camera operator shared CCTV footage on Facebook, requesting assistance in identifying the suspect. Sussex Police are actively investigating and have pinpointed a person of interest, urging anyone with information to reach out, referencing 203 of 5/08.
