Camden Art Projects Opens in Former Church with Martin Creed Show
Camden Art Projects is set to launch on May 9 at 176 Prince of Wales Road, Belsize Park, London. This venue, a Grade II-listed former Methodist church from the late 19th century, previously housed the Zabludowicz Collection until it relocated in 2023. Under new oversight, the site will introduce its inaugural exhibition curated by Hala Matar, showcasing Martin Creed's immersive piece, Work No. 3891 Half the air in a given space. Additionally, Creed’s neon installation, Work No. 1086: EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT (2011), will be displayed outside. A café by Little Bread Pedlar will also be included, and the space will operate free of charge.
