Caleb Stein's 'Down by the Hudson' Published by Palo Gallery Press

Caleb Stein's extensive photographic endeavor, 'Down by the Hudson,' has been released as a book by Palo Gallery Press. This project, which Stein initiated near a shared swimming area along a creek in Poughkeepsie, has evolved over ten years. The book launch aligns with a solo exhibition at Palo in New York, scheduled from September 10 to October 3, 2026. After the New York event, the work will be showcased with Sixteen World Collection during Paris Photo, followed by displays at Book & Job Gallery in San Francisco and Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, both in January 2027, and at Matt Carey-Williams Gallery in London from March 3 to April 2, 2027. Stein's work first gained attention from Booooooom in 2019, which continues to highlight his artistic journey. Additionally, the announcement includes a letter from the founder unveiling Booooooom Studio, a new initiative, and information about 'Tomorrow's Talent 5,' a book featuring over 60 artists in a 276-page larger format. The transformation of this project from a series to a decade-long exploration of a particular communal location underscores Stein's deep connection with community and place.
