Calais Exhibition Celebrates Inventive Duo Galante & Lancman's Cross-Disciplinary Creations

exhibition · 2026-08-09

From June 13, 2026, to January 3, 2027, the Cité de la Dentelle et de la Mode and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Calais in France will host an exhibition titled 'Maurizio Galante & Tal Lancman: haute couture / design / art.' Curated by Lydia Kamitsis, this showcase highlights remarkable creations that intertwine fashion, design, and art. Maurizio Galante established his Parisian fashion house in 1996 after studying architecture and fashion. Tal Lancman, a graduate of Shenkar College and Bezalel Academy, has made his mark as a designer and creative director. Featured works include Lancman's photographs of 'Parrot Tulip Bud,' Galante's dresses with animal patterns, and 'Tiger Cloud,' a silk tiger crafted from 2,500 tulle leaves.
