Caetano Veloso announces historic Madrid concert for June 2026

Brazilian singer-songwriter Caetano Veloso, a leading figure of the Tropicalismo movement, will perform a single concert in Spain on June 4, 2026, at the Palacio de los Deportes - Movistar Arena in Madrid. Tickets go on sale April 17 at 10 AM via the Last Tour website. The 82-year-old artist, who has released over 50 albums, will present songs spanning six decades, including selections from his 2021 album Meu Coco. His recent composition Um baiana, described by promoters as carrying a culturally affirming and non-violent message, will also be featured. Veloso has received 12 Latin Grammy Awards from 33 nominations, along with three Grammy Awards.
