Cabaña Herradura: ALMA de Arquitectos' Forest-Adapted Design
ALMA de Arquitectos has completed Cabaña Herradura, a 340 m² cabin in the Bosque de la Primavera, Mexico. The project, led by architect Alejandro Martín with a design team including Sebastian Torres, Sofia Hernández, Lourdes Mendoza, and Daphne Fontes, was curated by Valentina Díaz. The horseshoe-shaped layout preserves existing trees by fitting into open spaces without altering original vegetation. Construction was carried out by ALMA de Arquitectos. Photographs are by César Belio. Suppliers include Cerámicas Exclusivas, El fluxómetro, Pegaduro, and Taller Objeto. The project was completed in 2025.
