Ca' Foscari seeks fundraiser for Science Gallery Venice

Fondazione Ca' Foscari Venezia is hiring a fundraiser for Science Gallery Venice, a space merging science, technology, art, and design for youth aged 15–25. The project is part of the Global Science Gallery Network, which began at Trinity College Dublin and expanded to London, Melbourne, and Bangalore. In Venice, it will be located in San Basilio at the historic maritime warehouses (fabbricato 4), as part of an urban regeneration initiative led by the university and the port. Opening is slated for 2019 after renovation, but public activities start in 2017. The fundraiser will secure long-term financial support, with a three-year contract after a six-month probation, salary between €40,000 and €50,000. Candidates must submit a motivation letter, three reference letters, CV, and passport/ID by April 1. Fluency in Italian and English is required. Ariane Koek, founder of Arts at CERN, has been appointed director of Science Gallery Venice. She expressed enthusiasm for leading the project, noting Venice's historical role in science and art and the initiative's focus on sustainability, cultural heritage, and humanity.
