C2C Festival Returns to Turin with Avant-Pop Lineup

The C2C festival (formerly Club to Club) returned to Turin, Italy, on November 2-3, 2023, held at the Officine Grandi Riparazioni. The event featured a lineup of avant-pop and experimental artists, including Caroline Polachek, Model/Actriz, Marina Herlop, Hagop Tchaparian, Lucrecia Dalt, Two Shell, Overmono, Avalon Emerson, Tiga, Nick León, Space Afrika, and Evian Christ. Caroline Polachek closed the first night on November 2 with a performance blending pop sensibility and surrealist visuals. Model/Actriz made their Italian debut on the same day, performing tracks from their album 'Dogsbody' with a sound mixing noise, industrial rock, no wave, and dance-punk. Marina Herlop, a Catalan artist with classical training, performed on November 3, using her voice as an instrument within electronic music. Evian Christ returned with his first album 'Revanchist', reviving trance music. The festival is noted for its unique role in Italy, bringing cutting-edge artists to Turin and maintaining an underground spirit while embracing avant-pop.
